August favourites!

Well a new month is here and that means its time to review the last one! Here, you will find the products I have been using all August!

Simple light hydrating moisturiser– during the hot weather I have not used a heavy moisturiser but found that this one was rich enough to keep my skin hydrated but light enough to keep the shine away!

Collection Illuminating Touch concealer– a fantastic light concealer, easy to apply and it adds just the right amount of brightness to highlight those under eye areas and make your skin look more radiant! We have to have that summer glow!

Xen Tan– I actually did go abroad this year to Turkey but it was too hot to attempt to get a proper sun tan. I have been successfully faking it with this amazing product! Unlike other scary fake tans, the formula is a light brown moisturising mix, easy to rub in and not at all streaky! It lasts for up to a week if you shower every day, longer if not and by some sort of beautiful miracle does not smell like stale biscuits! Instead, you’ll enjoy smelling like vanilla! Perfect!

Clinique Redness Solutions powder– with the heat bringing out my red flushed up blush, this has been a life saver. Simply lightly brush this across your pink areas and the green tinted powder balances out your skin tone to ensure you’re looking picture perfect!

Apocalips Lip Lacquer in ‘Apocaliptic’- summer calls for bright colours and as I went out and about shopping, pubbing or gigging this month, I definitely rocked the bright lip trend! These lip lacquers are amazing for super pigmented long-lasting colour but they can be a bit drying on sensitive lips so ensure to put a coat of Vaseline on underneath!

Nina Ricci perfume– a sweet, rich floral scent, this perfume has been my staple perfume for the entire month! I just cannot get enough this perfume. In fact, I have 3 bottles of it!!

And a slightly unusual beauty favourite of the month:

Nivea Happy Time shower gel! This smells absolutely lush and really wakes me up in the morning.  I have been loving this all month both because of the smell and the way it moisturises my skin. Moisturising shower gels are not just for dry winter skin! With more skin on show in summer heat, its good to make sure your skins looking its best!

I shall review a few of the products mentioned soon so keep your eyes peeled!
