I am back at uni! I am very excited, though I have recently been suffering from some sort of identity crisis about going into my third year because at some point, in the very near future, I will no longer be a student and I honestly love being a student so much that I don’t want it to ever end.
I thought I would do a little bit of ‘back to school’ shopping. I have typically been buying spiral chunky notebooks with the plastic dividers but I never seem to fill them up and they’re so heavy and ugly that I decided to buy something a little bit different this year.
I found these beautiful notebooks in Urban Outfitters for £6 each. (Yes, I did spend £18 on notebooks. This is the last back to school shopping I will ever do!)
They are matte, despite looking shiny and I am not sure of their specific size but they’re a little short of A4. I like them because they are light to carry and look a lot like exercise books as I had when I was younger. There are around 50 pages of lined paper so I won’t be wasting any paper this year by not finishing a notebook! I have decided to use separate books per module so they should do perfectly.
Never before have I found notebooks that suit me so well. Obviously the covers are pretty crystals, agates and ones cut through the middle and I love crystals. The blue one is my favourite because it is such a beautiful colour and the pink flecks just set it off and I also like how the black and white one looks a little sparkly in the centre of the crystal and the edges of the crystal have this gorgeous gold finish.
I also have some white sticky labels that my friend Megan left at my house before she left uni so I am going to assign each notebook to a module and have them labelled up but I thought I best photograph them without so that you could fully appreciate how stunning the covers are.
I am all set now, excited to start studying again!
EDIT: For those of you asking why I didn’t link them, they are all sold out online, I’m afraid, so you’ll have to really hunt the stores to see if they have them stocked. I purchased these on the 5th of September from the Westfield Shepherd’s Bush store so they may have them still if you live in London and want to check them out but please don’t hold me to that!
P.S. It’s not that I waited a really long time to post this, I wrote about them immediately but had a few other posts already in line to be published. Also, from now on, I am back to the Tuesday and Friday posting schedule as, with uni and my job and my writing, it will be near impossible to continue to post every other day!
