How to: Fruit smoothies! 2 min recipe!

Recently I’ve made a little pact with myself that I’d be better to my body and eat healthier. To keep this promise to myself I needed to be able to make eating healthier more fun whilst also wanting a ‘no mess’ quick fix. That’s when my mum bought a blender!

Smoothies are so easy and quick to do and are a great way to neck your ‘5 a day’ and, let’s be honest, they are absolutely scrumptious!

To make fruit smoothies you will need:P1010463P1010461

  • A blender
  • 1 cup of fruit
  • 1 cup of ice OR ice cream
  • 1 cup of milk
  • Honey (optional)


This morning I made a banana smoothie because bananas are great for energy but you can choose whatever fruit you desire. Another one of my favourites is strawberry and blackcurrant!

Simply chop up your fruit and add it in the blender, followed by a cup of milk and either ice cream or ice cubes. (I’m lactose intolerant so I chose ice cubes and added lactofree milk. Because I didn’t use ice cream I added a spot of honey to sweeten my smoothie but this is entirely up to personal taste).

Then blend it all up so its smooooooth!
