Hello lovelies, sorry I’ve not posted anything this weekend but I have been out for days celebrating my birthday. I have lots of posts lined up for you but I thought that I would fill you in!
I turned 19 on Saturday so my family came down from the West Midlands to visit me in London. We fulfilled one of my oldest birthday wishes: to go to Hard Rock Cafe. It was really lovely, just as good as I thought it was going to be.
Apologies for the grainy photos by the way, the restaurant is very dark inside so I think my camera struggled a little bit…
A quick outfit of the day: Grey 3/4 sleeve floral dress from New Look, black cardigan also from New Look, plain black tights, purple socks, black cut out chelsea boots from Primark and my back is from a little shop on ebay.
(I love this photo of John Lennon and Yoko Ono! I couldn’t resist having a photo taken with it!)
We were seated at a table in the back corner of the restaurant next to a huge puppet imitation of Mick Jagger, which was both amusing and alarming to have him over my shoulder the entire time! I had the most delicious cocktail (and bought a souvenir glass of course) and we had the tastiest nachos ever whilst we waited for our food. I ordered the hickory bacon burger and it was SO BIG! Needless to say I could not finish it but I promise you that I sat there in beef sweats trying my hardest! It was so so tasty, I would definitely recommend ordering it if you ever visit.
I was also presented with a free ice cream sundae and made to stand up, holding it, whilst the whole of the restaurant gave a rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ which was both embarrassing and sweet at the same time. (Tasty all the same!) The waiters and staff were so friendly and were happy to take music requests while we ate which I thought was great.
It was a really lovely visit and I’d love to go again one day. It was a very good birthday eve!
Part 2 of my birthday weekend posts coming soon! The Breakfast Club in Soho and cocktails at Belushi’s in Hammersmith!
