My birthday weekend part 2: The Breakfast Club and Belushi’s

Hello again! This is part two of my birthday posts and explanation for lack of activity this past weekend!

As you may have read, I spent the Friday before my birthday with my family at the Hard Rock Cafe. Saturday was my actual birthday which I spent at university with my flatmates and friends. I’ve wanted to go to The Breakfast Club in central London for so long so we all got up earlier than usual (before lunchtime that is) and went for pancakes!

Unfortunately (and most unexpectedly) there was a rather long queue of people waiting to get into The Breakfast Club. I’m assuming that it was busy because it was a Saturday and because it is a popular place for tourists to visit. We waited outside for about an hour and a half which wasn’t so fun but they did bring us free hot chocolate to keep us warm and our spirits up which was really lovely of them!

When I finally got inside I ordered a hot chocolate and their pancakes and berries. I thought that I would clear my plate without an issue- especially as I had drank the night before and hadn’t eaten since! I was very very wrong. There were three pancakes topped with maple syrup, vanilla cream and delicious strawberries and blackberries. I managed about half but do recommend this!

My boyfriend and all my friends had the all american breakfast and I have to admit that I would like to go back and try this! I chose pancakes and berries because I really fancied something sweet but just looking at their breakfasts consolidated that I HAVE to go back and try that!

After breakfast we went round Oxford Street where I spent some birthday money purchasing Clinique goodies that I had run out of such as the Moisture Surge gel mask and ‘All about eye’ cream- both of which products I have raved about on here I think!

After a quick rest of my feet, a get ready session with my friend and a few hours of hilarious drinking games with a big group of my friends, we headed to Hammersmith where we spent the night in Belushi’s drinking cocktails and other beverages. It was a very amusing night! Unfortunately I was too drunk to take photos but did find some decent ones taken by someone else!

I received many lovely presents including converse sneakers, Ella Eyre tickets, Nina Nesbitt tickets, a pretty filofax diary, jewellery, clothes and some Lush goodies which I will review for you at a later date!
