2015 is here and, as a control freak, I want to know that I am prepared. I’ll spare you the ‘New Year, New Me’ crapola, of which we all endure on every social media platform we have every single year, but do want to talk about new year’s resolutions.
Growing up, I have always tried to think of at least one resolution to carry me through into the new year because it is a tradition after all and self-improvement can never be a bad thing. Last year, however, I don’t think I made any and this is largely due to my annual recognition of failing to keep a single one. This year, I aim to keep my resolutions a little more achievable! So without further ado, here are my new year resolutions for 2015:
- Read books for enjoyment again (not for university studies). I think I’ll aim to finish one book every two weeks.
- Go out and let my hair down more often! This first term I barely went on nights out at all!
- Stick to my blogging schedule.
You may have noticed that university studies don’t feature above. That isn’t because I don’t care about them but is actually because this first term of second year I was reasonably organised, got work in on time and spent more time in the library, although I admit that this was somewhat because they sell really delicious paninis…but still, whatever it takes to get the job done, ay?
What do you think of NY resolutions? Motivational or inevitable failure? Open for discussion,
