Soap & Co Pamper Night

soapco

Hello my lovelies,

I feel like now is as good a time as any to share with you a particular brand that people don’t seem to have heard of but they’re too good to keep a secret.

A month or so ago, I purchased a body scrub, body butter and mineral peeling gel from Soap & Co. The first two I have in Patchouli, Lavender and Vanilla because they smell delicious and are relaxing scents, i.e. perfect for evening bathing. I wish that you guys could try these products because I feel like they sell themselves and I don’t know if I can adequately praise them in a blog post but I’m very enthusiastic about the products and am willing to try…

I use body scrubs a fair amount, from different brands and yet this is the best body scrub I have ever used. The scrub contains salts from the dead sea and is known for helping skin problems like acne or eczema or just very dry skin. I actually don’t mind sharing with you that I had a small rash on my upper back where my skin was irritated and nothing worked on it. I tried scrubs and moisturisers galore but nothing worked. I didn’t expect this product to work miracles but it genuinely did get rid of the dry skin and rash which I couldn’t be happier about. Rashes aside (gross), it removes a ton of dead skin and leaves you silky soft and smelling incredible!

The body lotion is just as nice. It’s really rich so you don’t need to use a lot which is also a bonus because then the product lasts longer. We all know how lotions work. It smells great and it feels great and it doesn’t take too long to soak into the skin which is always good because I’m quite impatient when it comes to moisturising and like to be able to do it and put clothes on without waiting to dry and sticking to everything.

The mineral peeling gel is something that I don’t think can be bought online. It comes in bundles with other products. This actually sucks because I’ve let my friends try it and they’ve adored it and insisted on finding it and can’t buy it separately so no matter how much I recommend it, no one can seem to get hold of it. Anyway, it’s a thickish clear serum and you only need a couple pumps before rubbing it in circular motions on your face. (Warning: more disgusting visuals). As you rub, dead skin flakes off your face in bits and you carry on until you’re satisfied and then wash off any remaining dead skin, revealing fresh new skin underneath. It’s gross but glorious!

I feel like this is quite seasonally appropriate because, for me at least, winter hates my body and it’s usually a huge chore to keep moisturised and take care of my skin but these products are just amazing and I try and have a big pamper session at least twice a week using them. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I will admit that Soap & Co prices aren’t as friendly as their products and I completely understand why people don’t look into them because of the prices. I would encourage anyone interested in buying the products to actually go to a store and try and bargain deals and bundles and not pay full price if possible. BUT, I do think they are worth having!

Officially a new fan,

Hannah x
